Gwango Heritage Resort, Dete

I had a wonderful stay in the Hwange area, especially enjoying the proximity to the park entrance and the frequent visits from elephants. The campsite was well-equipped and offered a lovely, secluded experience, complemented by a friendly atmosphere. However, I did experience some issues with the game drive service that fell short of my expectations, particularly regarding the guide's experience and the vehicle's condition.

I had a disappointing experience during my stay, particularly with the game drives, which didn't meet my expectations despite the high price. While the setting was nice and the lodge had good potential, the service and vehicle maintenance left much to be desired. However, I did find some positives in the overall ambience and staff interactions, even if the game drive experience was not what I had hoped for.

I had an amazing time at Gwango Heritage, which is perfectly located near Hwange National Park. The accommodations were beautifully designed and really comfortable, and I appreciated the effort the staff put into making my stay memorable. However, I did encounter a couple of hiccups during my tours due to vehicle issues, which took away from the experience. Overall, it's great value for money and offers a unique experience close to nature.

My stay at Gwango was wonderful, with stunning surroundings and beautifully designed cottages. The hospitality from the staff really stood out, especially Fortune, who went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable game drive experience. However, the Wi-Fi could be a bit better as it's only available in common areas, and some might find the limited connectivity a downside. Overall, it was a great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

Gwango Heritage is a beautifully set lodge just minutes from Hwange National Park, with cozy rooms and great amenities. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. However, there were issues with the jeep tours, particularly with a vehicle breakdown, and the food menu could use more variety. Overall, it's a charming place with great potential, but some improvements are needed.
